I have a FortiGate-30E and its average memory usage is 81-82%. I don’t do anything fancy with it. I do run a NAS for backups, I have a few IP security cameras devices, a printer, TVs… with a running average of 25 devices daily. I wonder whether the 30-E is just not powerful enough for me and whether I need to upgrade to something else. BTW, the memory usage issue appeared when I activated DoS policies and the SNMP protocol. Is that the problem? Am I asking too much for my FG-30E? Ultimately, if I need to upgrade, I was looking for something long term that allows me to enjoy no less than 200 Mbps and hopefully up to 1Gbps. Would you recommend the FG-60F for a home-office? P.S. if you have also a good recommendation for a FortiAP that has capabilities for protocol 802.11ax and is apt for a home environment… I am all ears. Thank you again for all your advice and well-needed videos!
